Questions

Before you apply

Do I really need all three DGCA subjects?
Yes — Meteorology, Navigation and Regulation should be cleared, and at least one RTR(A) paper is strongly recommended. If you haven't cleared Navigation but perform well in screening, you may be offered Navigation and RTR training as an add-on.
Do my parents need to be involved?
Your parent or guardian reads, signs and returns the Fly Direct brochure before screening begins. It's a short step, and it means the whole family understands the timeline and fees before you commit.
Where will I train, and for how long?
At Goldwings Flight Academy in Poland, across their Warsaw and Kraków bases. The whole pathway takes 15 months: ground training in India first, then you arrive in Poland in January and fly continuously through to completion.
What licence do I get at the end?
An EASA CPL with Multi-Engine Instrument Rating, plus A-UPRT, MCC, Airbus A320 Jet Orientation and cold-weather flying. We then support your logbook alignment and documentation for your DGCA India licence application.
What happens after I apply?
Our team contacts you to schedule your screening interview. If you're selected, you reserve your seat and start the 2–3 week pre-training before travelling.
